Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rankture (“Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) at rankture.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via:

  • Email notification
  • Notice on the website
  • Update to the “Last Updated” date

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Service Description

Rankture is a web-based SEO audit tool that analyzes websites for search engine optimization issues and provides actionable recommendations.

Features Include:

  • Website SEO audits
  • Technical SEO checks (HTTPS, mobile-responsive, page speed, etc.)
  • On-page SEO analysis (meta tags, headings, content, etc.)
  • Multi-page crawling (sitemap and auto-discovery)
  • Audit history and reporting
  • Email notifications

Account Registration

Creating an Account

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
  • All activities that occur under your account

We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

Credit Packs (One-Time Purchase)

  • 50 audits for $10

Billing

Subscription Billing:

  • Billed monthly in advance
  • Automatically renews unless canceled
  • Processed through Stripe
  • Usage resets on your billing anniversary date

Audit Limits:

  • You cannot exceed your monthly audit limit
  • Unused audits do not roll over to the next month
  • Credit pack audits do not expire

Payment

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept major credit/debit cards
  • Prices are in USD
  • All sales are final (no refunds except as required by law)

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice. Changes apply to renewals, not current billing periods.

Taxes

Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for all taxes, which will be added to your invoice.

Cancellation and Refunds

Canceling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log into your account
  • Go to Settings → Billing
  • Click “Cancel Subscription”

Upon Cancellation:

  • You retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • You are not charged for subsequent periods
  • Your account downgrades to the FREE plan
  • Audit history is retained

Refund Policy

No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for:

  • Partial months of service
  • Unused audits
  • Change of mind

Exceptions:

  • Fraudulent charges (contact us immediately)
  • Service unavailability exceeding 48 hours
  • Required by law in your jurisdiction

Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

  • Audit websites you own or have permission to audit
  • Generate SEO reports for legitimate business purposes
  • Store and access your audit history

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

Abuse and Overuse:

  • Circumvent usage limits or rate limits
  • Create multiple accounts to exceed limits
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the Service
  • Perform denial-of-service attacks

Illegal Activity:

  • Audit websites without authorization
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Malicious Use:

  • Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise our systems
  • Upload malware or malicious code
  • Interfere with other users’ access
  • Reverse engineer the Service

Prohibited Content:

  • Audit websites containing illegal content
  • Audit websites that violate intellectual property rights
  • Submit fraudulent or deceptive information

Consequences of Violation

Violations may result in:

  • Warning or suspension of account
  • Immediate termination without refund
  • Legal action if necessary
  • Reporting to authorities for illegal activity

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Rankture and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Reverse engineer the Service
  • Create derivative works

Your Content

You retain ownership of:

  • Website URLs you submit
  • Audit results and reports
  • Any data you provide

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Process your website URLs
  • Generate audit reports
  • Store audit history
  • Display results to you

We will not:

  • Sell your audit data to third parties
  • Use your data for purposes beyond providing the Service
  • Share your results publicly without permission

Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Supabase for database hosting
  • Upstash for queue management
  • Cloudflare for API and crawler hosting
  • Vercel for frontend hosting
  • Resend for email delivery

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Service Availability and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to provide 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Third-party service outages
  • Force majeure events

Service Limitations

The Service has technical limitations:

  • Rate limits (5-50 audits/hour depending on authentication)
  • Timeout limits (30 seconds per page)
  • Maximum pages per audit (based on your plan)
  • Cannot audit password-protected websites
  • May be blocked by certain bot protection systems

Audit Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, SEO audits are not perfect:

  • Results are provided “as-is” without warranty
  • SEO recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees
  • Search engine algorithms change frequently
  • Results may vary based on factors beyond our control

We Are Not Responsible For:

  • SEO performance or search rankings
  • Actions taken based on audit results
  • Errors or omissions in reports
  • Compatibility with all websites

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or completeness

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RANKTURE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid in the last 12 months

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rankture harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • We collect only necessary information
  • We do not sell your data
  • We use industry-standard security measures
  • You can request deletion of your data

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Canceling your subscription
  • Deleting your account via Settings
  • Contacting [email protected]

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account is inactive for 12+ months
  • We discontinue the Service (with 30 days’ notice)
  • Required by law

Upon Termination:

  • Your access to the Service ends immediately
  • Subscriptions are canceled (no refunds)
  • Audit data may be deleted after 30 days
  • These Terms continue to apply to past use

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, contact us at [email protected] to resolve the issue informally.
