Affiliate Program Terms of Service

These Affiliate Program Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your participation in the Rankture Affiliate Program. By joining the program, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Program Overview

The Rankture Affiliate Program allows you to earn commissions by referring new paying customers to Rankture. When someone signs up using your unique referral link and becomes a paying subscriber, you earn a percentage of their subscription payments.

2. Commission Structure

• Commission Rate: 30% of the subscription amount paid by your referrals
• Commission Period: You earn commission on the first 12 months of each referral's subscription
• Discount Codes: Commission is calculated on the actual amount paid after any discounts or promotional codes are applied
• Qualifying Payments: Only successful subscription payments qualify for commission. One-time purchases, refunds, and chargebacks do not qualify.

3. Referral Attribution

• Cookie Duration: 30 days from the time a visitor clicks your referral link
• Attribution: The referral is attributed to the affiliate whose link was clicked most recently within the cookie window
• Self-Referrals: You may not refer yourself or accounts you control

4. Payout Terms

• Minimum Payout: $1.00 USD
• Payout Schedule: Commissions are paid on the 15th of the following month. For example, commissions earned in January are paid on February 15th.
• Payment Method: Payouts are sent via Stripe to your connected bank account
• Stripe Account Required: You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts
• Tax Responsibility: You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your affiliate earnings

5. Free Access Benefits

Active affiliates may earn free access to Rankture based on their number of active referrals:

• 3 active referrals: 1 month free (Starter plan)
• 5 active referrals: 3 months free (Pro plan)
• 10 active referrals: 12 months free (Pro plan)
• 25 active referrals: Lifetime free access (Pro plan)

An "active referral" is a referred user who has made at least one successful subscription payment and maintains an active subscription.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination:

• Spam: Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or any form of spam
• Brand Bidding: Bidding on "Rankture" or variations thereof in paid advertising
• Trademark Misuse: Using Rankture trademarks in domain names, social media handles, or in misleading ways
• False Advertising: Making false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about Rankture
• Coupon/Deal Sites: Posting referral links on coupon aggregator sites without permission
• Incentivized Signups: Offering cash, gifts, or incentives to users for signing up through your link
• Cookie Stuffing: Using techniques to set referral cookies without user knowledge or consent
• Fraudulent Activity: Creating fake accounts, using bots, or any form of fraud
• Negative Marketing: Disparaging Rankture or competitors to drive signups

7. Approved Promotional Methods

We encourage the following promotional activities:

• Honest reviews and tutorials on your website or blog
• Social media posts sharing your genuine experience
• YouTube videos and educational content
• Email marketing to your own opted-in subscribers
• Podcast mentions and interviews
• Community participation (forums, Discord, Slack) where self-promotion is allowed

8. Intellectual Property

You may use Rankture's name and logo solely for the purpose of promoting your affiliate link. You may not modify our logos or create derivative works. We reserve the right to provide brand guidelines and require their use.

9. Disclosure Requirements

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with Rankture in compliance with FTC guidelines and applicable laws. This includes adding appropriate disclosures to blog posts, social media, and any content containing your affiliate link.

Example disclosure: "This post contains affiliate links. If you sign up through my link, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you."

10. Termination

• By You: You may terminate your participation at any time by contacting us
• By Us: We may terminate your participation at any time, with or without cause
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will receive payment for any earned and unpaid commissions, provided they were earned through compliant activities
• Forfeiture: Commissions earned through prohibited activities will be forfeited

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms, commission rates, or program structure at any time. We will notify active affiliates of material changes via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

Rankture's total liability to you for any claims arising from this Agreement shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Relationship

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Rankture. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
